In a food processor, combine the all-purpose flour, cheddar cheese, unsalted butter, salt, and black pepper. Pulse until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Add the ice cold water and pulse until the dough comes together.

Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead it a few times until smooth.
