  5. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in the milk until smooth.
  6. Add the grated cheese and stir until melted and well combined.
  7. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
  8. Add the cauliflower and kale to the skillet and toss to coat them in the sauce.
  9. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  10. In a small bowl, combine the bread crumbs with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  11. Sprinkle the bread crumbs over the cauliflower and kale mixture.
