Caramel Cinnamon Bars
Caramel is made by heating sugar slowly until it melts and develops a rich, golden color.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, unsalted butter, cinnamon, and salt. Mix until crumbly.

Press half of the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9x9 inch baking dish.

Pour the caramel sauce over the crust.

In another bowl, beat the eggs and vanilla extract. Pour over the caramel layer.

Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture over the top.

Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Allow to cool for 30 minutes before cutting into bars.
