Cappuccino cupcakes are a delicious combination of coffee and chocolate flavors, inspired by the popular Italian coffee drink.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

In a small bowl, dissolve the instant coffee in the milk. Add the coffee mixture to the butter mixture and mix well.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.

Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean.

Remove the cupcakes from the oven and let them cool in the tin for 5 minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and heavy cream until smooth and creamy.

Once the cupcakes are completely cooled, frost them with the coffee frosting and dust with cocoa powder.
