Steam the broccoli until tender.

In a heatproof bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and lemon juice.

Place the bowl over a saucepan of simmering water, making sure the bottom of the bowl does not touch the water.

Gradually whisk in the melted butter, a little at a time, until the sauce thickens.

Season with salt and pepper.

Serve the steamed broccoli with the hollandaise sauce.
