Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.

In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork.

In a separate bowl, cream together the unsalted butter and granulated sugar.

Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, alternating with the plain yogurt.

Fold in the walnuts.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.

Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
