In a mixing bowl, combine the blueberries, pears, lemon juice, and granulated sugar. Mix well.

Cut the unsalted butter into small pieces and add it to the flour mixture. Use your fingers or a pastry cutter to mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
