In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.

Gradually pour in the beer while stirring until just combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Drizzle the melted butter over the top.

Bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let it rest in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
