Bananas are technically berries and are one of the most popular fruits worldwide.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface.

In a small bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork.

Spread the mashed bananas evenly over the puff pastry sheets.

Sprinkle the chopped nuts, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon over the bananas.

Roll up the pastry sheets tightly from one end to form a log.

Cut the log into 1-inch thick slices.

Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush the slices with beaten egg.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let them rest for 10 minutes.
