  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk.
  7. Fill each muffin cup halfway with the batter.
  8. Add a dollop of Nutella to each muffin cup.
  9. Top with the remaining batter, covering the Nutella completely.
  10. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  11. Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
