Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.

Gradually whisk in the milk and continue cooking until the mixture thickens.

Remove from heat and stir in the cheddar cheese until melted. Season with salt and black pepper.

In a baking dish, combine the cooked macaroni and cheese sauce. Mix well.

Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and breadcrumbs on top.
