  2. Butter one side of each bread slice.
  3. Place half of the cheese on a non-buttered side of a bread slice.
  4. Top with another bread slice, buttered side up.
  5. Repeat with the remaining cheese and bread slices.
  6. Place the assembled sandwiches on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10 minutes.
  8. Flip the sandwiches and bake for another 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
  10. Cut the sandwiches in half if desired.
