Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Place the walnuts on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for 5 minutes. Remove and let them cool.

In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, salt, and black pepper to make the dressing.

In a large bowl, combine the mixed salad greens, dried cranberries, and toasted walnuts. Toss with the dressing until well coated.

Slice the goat cheese into rounds and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is soft and slightly melted.
