Ingredients
  • 8 slice Bread slices
  • 4 egg Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoon Maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and maple syrup.
  4. Dip each bread slice into the egg mixture, making sure to coat both sides.
  5. Place the coated bread slices in the greased baking dish.
  6. Pour any remaining egg mixture over the bread slices.
  7. Dot the top of the bread slices with small pieces of butter.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the French toast is golden brown and set.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  10. Serve warm with additional maple syrup, if desired.
