  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the Bailey's Irish Cream and vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean. Remove from the oven and let cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. In a medium bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add the powdered sugar and continue to whip until stiff peaks form.
