Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin or line with muffin liners.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.

In a separate bowl, mix together the melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk.

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Fold in the chopped apples and chopped walnuts.

Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.

Drizzle each muffin with caramel sauce.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
