Heat the milk in a saucepan until it reaches 110°F.

In a large bowl, combine the warm milk, granulated sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.

Add the flour, salt, egg, and melted butter to the bowl. Mix until the dough comes together.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it with plastic wrap. Let it rise for 1 hour.

Punch down the dough and roll it out into a rectangle.

In a separate bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the dough.

Roll up the dough tightly from the long side, and cut it into 12 equal-sized rolls.

Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate overnight.

The next morning, preheat the oven to 350°F.

Remove the plastic wrap from the baking dish and bake the cinnamon rolls for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
