  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Stir in the cocoa powder and vanilla essence.
  4. Gradually add the flour and mix until well combined.
  5. Gently fold in the cornflakes and desiccated coconut.
  6. Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  7. Flatten each ball slightly with the back of a fork.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until firm to the touch.
  9. Allow the biscuits to cool on the baking tray for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. In a small bowl, mix together the icing sugar and water to make a smooth icing.
  11. Drizzle the icing over the cooled biscuits.
  12. Allow the icing to set before serving.
