  • 1 cup Milk
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 4 cups Fresh or frozen fruit
  • 0.5 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 cup Boiling water
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until well combined.
  4. Spread the batter evenly into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix together the fruit, brown sugar, and cornstarch. Spread the fruit mixture evenly over the batter.
  6. In a saucepan, bring the boiling water to a boil. Pour the boiling water over the fruit mixture.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the cobbler is bubbling.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
  9. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
