Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crust, melted butter, and sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie dish.

In a large bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, and egg yolks until well combined. Pour the mixture into the prepared crust.

Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.

Spread the melted chocolate over the cooled pie.

In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.

Spread the whipped cream over the chocolate layer and sprinkle with lime zest.
