In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.

Heat the milk and butter in a small saucepan until the butter melts. Let it cool slightly.

Add the milk mixture and egg to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes, or until smooth and elastic.

Divide the dough into two equal portions. Add black food coloring to one portion and knead until the color is evenly distributed.

Place both portions of dough in separate greased bowls, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Punch down the dough and shape it into a panda face. Use white chocolate chips for the eyes and mouth.
