In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk and egg.

Pour the milk mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt a tablespoon of butter.

Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.

Cook until the edges start to look set and bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes.

Repeat with the remaining batter.

Serve the pancakes topped with fresh strawberries, toasted almonds, and drizzled with caramel sauce.
