Boil the green beans in salted water for 3-4 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.

In a small pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the shallots and cook until crispy and golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan, add the walnuts and toast for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.

Add the green beans to the pan with the walnuts and toss to combine. Season with salt and black pepper.
