Black Gold Burgers
Black beans are often referred to as ‘black gold’ due to their high nutritional value and versatility in cooking.

Rinse and drain the black beans.

In a food processor, combine the black beans, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Pulse until well combined.

Shape the mixture into 4 patties.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until crispy and heated through.

Toast the burger buns.

Assemble the burgers by placing a black bean patty on the bottom bun. Top with lettuce, tomato, red onion, mayonnaise, and ketchup.
