Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • For the streusel topping:
  • 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoon Unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, alternating with the sour cream.
  5. In a separate small bowl, combine the streusel topping ingredients: flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter. Mix until crumbly.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared cake pan. Sprinkle half of the streusel topping over the batter. Repeat with the remaining batter and streusel topping.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Serve and enjoy!
