Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon Active dry yeast
  • 2 tablespoon Granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 4 tablespoon Unsalted butter
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, dissolve yeast and 1 teaspoon of sugar in warm milk. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, remaining sugar, and salt.
  3. Melt butter and let it cool slightly.
  4. Add yeast mixture, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until well combined.
  5. Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel and let the batter rest for 1 hour.
  6. Preheat the waffle iron.
  7. Pour the batter onto the hot waffle iron and cook until golden brown.
  8. Serve the yeast waffles warm with your favorite toppings.
