Ingredients
  • 2 cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 medium Apples
  • 1 cup Walnuts
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 0.5 cup Honey
  • 0.25 cup Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Peel and chop the apples into small pieces. Roughly chop the walnuts.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Add the honey, olive oil, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the chopped apples and walnuts.
  6. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Allow the bread to rest for 30 minutes before slicing and serving.
