Ingredients
  • 2 cup Oats
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Mixed dried fruit (such as cranberries, apricots, and raisins)
  • 0.5 cup Chopped nuts (such as almonds or walnuts)
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together oats, flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Press half of the oat mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle dried fruit and nuts evenly over the oat mixture. Crumble the remaining oat mixture over the top.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
