Ingredients
  • 500 gram Potatoes
  • 200 gram Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 piece Tomatoes
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 10 leaves Fresh Basil
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
  3. Grate the cheddar cheese.
  4. Slice the tomatoes, onion, and garlic.
  5. In a baking dish, layer half of the potato rounds.
  6. Sprinkle half of the grated cheese, sliced tomatoes, onions, and garlic.
  7. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper.
  8. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is melted and golden.
  10. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
  11. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
