Ingredients
  • 200 gram Butter
  • 200 gram Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 250 gram Flour
  • 100 gram Chocolate chips
  • 100 gram Chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the brown sugar and salt until well combined.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the flour to the mixture, stirring until fully incorporated.
  5. Spread the dough evenly onto a greased baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle the chocolate chips and chopped nuts (if using) over the hot crust.
  8. Allow the toffee crunch to cool completely before cutting into squares.
