Ingredients
  • 100 gram Butter
  • 100 gram Granulated sugar
  • 100 gram Brown sugar
  • 1 unit Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 200 gram All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 100 gram Shredded coconut
  • 50 gram Toasted coconut flakes
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix until well combined.
  5. Stir in the shredded coconut and toasted coconut flakes.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown around the edges.
  8. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
