Ingredients
  • 1.5 cup Shortbread Crust
  • 3 medium Apples
  • 1 cup Caramel Sauce
  • 10 pieces Taffy Candy
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup Flour
  • 0.5 cup Butter
  • 0.5 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shortbread crust ingredients and press into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  3. Bake the crust for 15 minutes or until lightly golden.
  4. Meanwhile, peel and slice the apples.
  5. In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat. Stir in the cinnamon and vanilla extract.
  6. Add the sliced apples to the saucepan and cook until tender.
  7. Pour the caramel sauce over the baked crust and spread evenly.
  8. Arrange the cooked apples on top of the caramel sauce.
  9. Sprinkle the taffy candy pieces on top.
  10. Bake for an additional 25 minutes or until the taffy candy is melted and bubbly.
  11. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 30 minutes.
  12. Cut into bars and serve.
