Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the melted butter, granulated sugar, eggs, lemon zest, lemon juice, and buttermilk.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven and let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  8. Transfer the bread to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Once cooled, dust the top of the bread with powdered sugar.
  10. Slice and serve.
