Ingredients
  • 3 pound Sweet potatoes
  • 4 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Bourbon
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup Pecans
  • 1/2 cup Marshmallows
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Peel and cube the sweet potatoes.
  3. Boil the sweet potatoes until tender, then drain.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, mash the sweet potatoes.
  5. Add butter, brown sugar, bourbon, vanilla extract, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg to the mashed sweet potatoes. Mix well.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
  7. Sprinkle pecans on top.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes.
  9. Remove from the oven and top with marshmallows.
  10. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the marshmallows are golden brown.
  11. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
