Ingredients
  • 1.5 cup Cornmeal
  • 1.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 cup Sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9-inch square baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Add the milk and melted butter, and whisk until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then, transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
