  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, cold
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Milk
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract until just combined.
  5. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently for about 1 minute.
  6. Roll out the dough to a 1/2-inch thickness and cut out biscuits using a round biscuit cutter.
  7. Place the biscuits onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk to make a glaze.
  10. Drizzle the glaze over the warm biscuits.
