  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Almond extract
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 2 Fresh peaches, sliced
  • 1/4 cup Sliced almonds
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla and almond extracts.
  4. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, alternating with the milk. Gently fold in the sliced peaches and sliced almonds.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
