  • 8 ounce Pie crust
  • 1.5 cup Pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup Evaporated milk
  • 0.75 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 unit Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.75 cup All-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup Brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup Butter
  • 0.5 cup Pecans
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie dish.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix well.
  4. Pour the mixture into the pie crust.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (180°C) and continue baking for another 40-45 minutes, or until the filling is set.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, and butter. Use your fingers to mix until crumbly.
  7. Stir in the pecans.
  8. Remove the pie from the oven and sprinkle the streusel topping evenly over the top.
  9. Return the pie to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the streusel is golden brown.
  10. Remove from the oven and let the pie cool for at least 2 hours before serving.
