  • 2 cup Strawberries
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. In a saucepan, combine the strawberries, sugar, and water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract to form a soft dough.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the dough into the simmering strawberry mixture. Cover and cook for 15 minutes.
