Ingredients
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour For the Puffs:
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream For the Filling:
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries For the Topping:
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). In a saucepan, combine butter, water, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and add flour all at once. Stir until the mixture forms a ball.
  3. Transfer the dough to a mixing bowl and let it cool for 5 minutes.
  4. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition until smooth.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and let the puffs cool completely.
  7. In a mixing bowl, beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  8. Cut the puffs in half horizontally. Fill the bottom halves with the cream mixture.
  9. Place sliced strawberries on top of the cream. Cover with the top halves of the puffs.
  10. Dust with powdered sugar and serve chilled.
