  • 2 cup Strawberries
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon Orange juice
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter
  • 0.75 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Whipped cream
  • 8 leaves Mint leaves
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine strawberries, lemon juice, orange juice, and sugar. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. Stir in milk until just combined.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool.
  9. Split the shortcakes in half and fill with the strawberry mixture.
  10. Top with whipped cream and garnish with mint leaves.
  11. Serve and enjoy!
