Ingredients
  • 6 cup Bread cubes
  • 4 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 1 cup Celery stalks
  • 1.5 cup Apples
  • 0.5 cup Dried cranberries
  • 1.5 cup Chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Dried sage
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the onion and celery, and cook until they become tender.
  4. Stir in the apples and dried cranberries, and cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine the bread cubes, cooked vegetables and fruits, parsley, sage, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Gradually pour in the broth and mix until everything is well combined.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  8. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the top becomes crispy.
  10. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
