Ingredients
  • 200 gram Pie crust
  • 200 gram Spinach
  • 150 gram Mushrooms
  • 100 gram Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 4 unit Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 150 gram Cheese (gruyere or cheddar)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Nutmeg
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and press it into a pie dish.
  3. In a pan, sauté the onions and garlic until translucent. Add the mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture.
  4. Add the spinach and cook until wilted. Remove from heat and let cool.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  6. Stir in the cooled spinach and mushroom mixture.
  7. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust.
  8. Sprinkle the cheese on top.
  9. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the quiche is set and golden brown.
  10. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
