Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, combine the blueberries, granulated sugar, lemon zest, cornstarch, and vanilla extract. Toss until the blueberries are well coated.

In a separate bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, unsalted butter, salt, and confectioners' sugar until crumbly.

Press half of the crumb mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form the crust.

Spread the blueberry mixture evenly over the crust.

Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture over the top of the blueberries.

Bake for 45 minutes, or until the crumb topping is golden brown.

Allow the bars to cool completely in the baking dish before cutting into squares.
