Ingredients
  • 8 ounce Macaroni
  • 2 cup Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1.5 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoon Flour
  • 1 piece Jalapeno pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley
Instructions
  1. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  3. Gradually whisk in the milk and cook until the mixture thickens, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, jalapeno pepper, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
  6. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked macaroni and cheese sauce. Transfer to the greased baking dish.
  7. In a small bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and fresh parsley. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the macaroni and cheese.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  9. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
