Ingredients
  • 12 ounce Sugarplums
  • 4 medium Apples
  • 4 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • 1 sheet Frozen puff pastry
  • 2 tablespoon Calvados
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoon Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add the brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is caramelized.
  3. Add the apples to the caramelized mixture and cook until they are tender and caramelized.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into small circles. Place the circles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Spoon the caramelized apple mixture onto each puff pastry circle.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together the calvados, heavy cream, and powdered sugar until thickened.
  8. Serve the tartlets with a dollop of the calvados cream on top. Enjoy!
