Ingredients
  • 100 gram Butter
  • 100 gram Granulated sugar
  • 150 gram All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Continue cooking until it turns brown and gives off a nutty aroma. Remove from heat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the browned butter and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined.
  4. Add the flour, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground nutmeg, and salt to the bowl. Mix until a dough forms.
  5. Transfer the dough to the prepared baking sheet and press it into a thin, even layer.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Then, using a knife or pizza cutter, cut the brittle into desired shapes.
  8. Allow the brittle to cool completely on the baking sheet.
