Ingredients
  • 1.5 cup Oats
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 0.5 cup Butter
  • 0.75 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Raisins
  • 0.5 cup Walnuts
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the oats, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing well.
  6. Stir in the raisins and walnuts.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto an ungreased baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly golden.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
