Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup Pecans, chopped
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, chocolate chips, and chopped pecans.
  5. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
