Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoon Unsalted butter
  • for serving Maple syrup
  • for serving Fresh berries
Instructions
  1. Preheat the waffle iron.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, sour cream, milk, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Melt the butter in a small saucepan or in the microwave.
  6. Brush the waffle iron with melted butter.
  7. Pour the batter onto the hot waffle iron and cook according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  8. Repeat with the remaining batter.
  9. Serve the waffles hot with maple syrup and fresh berries.
